What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Patient Care Coordinator/Front Desk Receptionist position at Parc Village Dental?
Tuesday-Friday (half day), 30 - 32 hours/week
Requirements:
- two year related degree or equivalent work experience in customer service/dental
- excellent phone and in-person communication skills
- organization, time management and multitasking abilities
- an understanding of office procedures and workflow
- computer literacy in applications such as email and Microsoft office
- problem solving and leadership skills
- experience with Practice Management Software is a plus
Responsibilities:
- greeting patients as they arrive and answering phones
- scheduling and coordination of appointments to maximize production
- daily production, collection reporting and balancing
- insurance verification, computation of patient responsibility, claim submission, posting of payments
- collection of patient payment at time of service
- presentation of fees and payment options to patients
