Position Summary:
The Job Coach supports individuals with disabilities in obtaining and maintaining competitive, integrated 8-week summer employment. This role provides individualized, on-the-job training, skill development, and ongoing support to promote workplace success, and independence.
Key Responsibilities:

- Provide onsite job coaching to participants at their summer job assignment.
- Support the development of the participants' job duties through coaching.
- Build on natural supports within the workplace to enhance social integration with co-workers.
- Accurately complete all required documentation and paperwork, including daily student reports and end of summer workplace evaluations.
- Travel independently to/from community work site.
Required Qualifications:
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates Degree with relevant experienced preferred.
- Current Workplace Supports Certification or completion within first 6 months of employment.
- Current CPR/First Aid Certification or completion within 90 days of employment.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to be flexible.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong documentation skills.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
Working Conditions:
- Physical demands may include standing, walking, lifting, and using own vehicle for local travel.
- Work environment may include community settings with occasional exposure to noise or other environmental factors.
- Attendance at trainings and completion of continuing education hours as required by funders.
