What You'll Do
- Give medications.
- Keep records up to date.
- Check blood pressure and other vital signs.
- Watch for changes in residents.
- Share concerns with the nursing team.
- Help keep residents safe and comfortable.
What You Need
You must have a current Med Tech certification that meets assisted living requirements.
You must also have:
- Required observation forms
- Diabetic education training
The following do not qualify:
- Medical Assistant certification
- Hospital-only certifications
- Doctor's office medication experience
- Training that does not meet assisted living requirements
