Position Summary
The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) works under the direction of a Physical Therapist to help residents improve mobility, strength, independence, and overall quality of life. This role provides therapy treatments, assists with rehabilitation programs, monitors resident progress, and supports individualized care plans while ensuring a safe, compassionate, and positive therapy experience.
Responsibilities
- Help residents with therapy exercises
- Support strength, balance, and movement
- Work with a caring rehab team
- Track progress and share updates
- Encourage residents every step of the way
Qualifications
- Active PA PTA license
- Rehab experience is helpful, not required
- Able to work on your own
- Kind, patient, and team-focused
