Wastewater Operator Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience required
- Valid Level 1 Wastewater License in state of Delaware required
- Ability to attain knowledge of water, wastewater and NPDES storm water operations required
- Must be part of the union or willing to join required

Wastewater Operator Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and maintaining water, wastewater, and stormwater systems by performing preventative maintenance, executing precise sampling and testing procedures, and recording flow meter data
- Additional responsibilities will involve assisting in daily operation
- Maintenance and monitoring of wastewater treatment processes to insure efficient customer operations
- Maintains a clean work area
