Service Advisor Requirements:
- 2-4 Years of Automotive Service Advisor/Writer or Automotive Customer Service experience required
- Experience writing repair orders/quotes required
- Able to communicate with customers required
- Knowledge of tires, brakes, suspension, diagnostics, maintenance and auto repair preferred
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence required

Service Advisor Responsibilities:
- Managing front-end operations in an automotive repair and tire shop
- Responsibilities include helping customers, writing repair orders, scheduling appointments, communicating with technicians, recommending repairs and maintenance, providing estimates, updating customers on vehicle status, and supporting daily shop operations
- Work may involve general automotive repair, tires, brakes, suspension, diagnostics, alignments, transmission service, and HVAC repair on domestic and import cars, SUVs, vans, and light-duty trucks
- Most vehicles serviced are everyday consumer vehicles that are typically 5 years old
- Document repair and maintenance changes on repair order in the approved manner
- Resolve customer complaints and questions
- Establish and maintain strong positive working relationships and loyalty with customers to encourage repeat and referral business allowing for long-term clientele
