Health Insurance Advisor is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Group Administrative Assistant to support our growing small group insurance division. This position plays a key role in maintaining efficient operations by assisting with group enrollments, renewals, carrier communication, CRM management, and overall administrative support for our small group clients.

Primary ResponsibilitiesGroup Enrollment & Administrative Support
- Assist with processing new group enrollments and policy changes
- Collect, review, and organize employer and employee documentation
- Submit enrollment materials to carriers and track status updates
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of all applications and paperwork
Quoting & Proposal Assistance
- Assist with gathering information needed for small group quotes
- Coordinate with carriers to obtain and organize quote information
- Prepare proposal documents and supporting materials for agent review
CRM & Data Management
- Maintain accurate records within our CRM
- Update policy details, effective dates, premium information, and client records
- Document communications and account activity thoroughly
Renewal & Client Support
- Support the renewal process by organizing renewal documents and timelines
- Communicate with carriers and employer groups regarding pending items
- Assist with follow-up on outstanding documentation and policy changes
Carrier & Team Coordination
- Serve as a support contact for carriers and internal team members
- Assist in resolving administrative and processing issues
- Maintain organized tracking systems and account files
Qualifications
- Previous administrative or insurance industry experience preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data entry systems
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with health insurance or employee benefits
- Familiarity with enrollment and renewal processes
- Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team environment
