Automotive/Commercial Glass Technician Requirements:

• 2 Years of Auto, Truck, or Heavy Equipment Glass Installation (Anything with wheels or treads) Experience required
• Valid drivers license and clean MVR (no DUIs, electrical violations, or texting and driving offenses for insurance purposes) required
• Diagnosing Damage and Chip Repair Experience preferred
• Experience replacing windshields, side/rear windows, and custom cut glass in both shop and field settings preferred
• Workload is roughly 70% cars and trucks, and 30% semis, toppers, heavy equipment, RVs, campers, and motorhomes

Automotive/Commercial Glass Technician Responsibilities:

• This role involves installing, repairing, and replacing glass on cars, trucks, heavy equipment, and campers
• Duties include diagnosing damage, performing chip repairs, replacing windshields and windows, prepping surfaces, applying adhesives, and sealing
• Work may also include installing side and rear glass, handling custom-cut glass for commercial trucks and machinery, and performing camera recalibrations
• Report to the shop each day then dispatched to Roadside stops, body shops and commercial job sites for install and repairs
