Full-Time Nanny / Caregiver & Homeschool Support
Location: In-home care (private residence) in Oak Grove, MO
Schedule:
- Monday–Thursday: 8:30 AM – 6:30 PM
- Friday: 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM
(Hours may adjust slightly based on family needs)
Position Overview
We are seeking a full-time, long-term nanny/caregiver to join our family and provide attentive, loving, and structured care for our children. This position is ideal for someone who is Christian, patient, kind, and passionate about child development, with a heart for nurturing children in a safe, faith-filled, and educational home environment.
Currently, care will be provided for our five-year-old and two-year-old, with the potential for a newborn within the next one to two years. Depending on experience, qualifications, and compensation, there may also be an opportunity to care for additional children in the future.
Care will take place exclusively in our home.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, loving, and developmentally appropriate care for young children
- Facilitate structured educational and homeschooling activities using a curriculum and daily plan provided by the parents
- Engage children in age-appropriate learning, play, outdoor time, and creative activities
- Support Christian values through modeling kindness, patience, and integrity
- Maintain daily routines, including meals, naps, learning time, and play
- Assist with light household duties throughout the day (primarily child-related), such as:
- Tidying play areas and learning spaces
- Children’s meal prep and clean-up
- Children’s laundry as needed
- Communicate clearly and professionally with parents regarding children’s progress, routines, and needs
Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience caring for young children (multiple children preferred)
- Comfortable supporting homeschool or structured educational activities
- Patient, nurturing, reliable, and highly organized
- Christian faith alignment and love for working with children
- Ability to manage multiple children calmly and confidently
- Willingness to undergo a background check
- Ability to provide professional references
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
