Job Summary
We are seeking a caring and responsible Babysitter/Nanny to provide attentive childcare for children. This role involves assisting with daily routines, meal preparation, light housekeeping related to childcare, and ensuring the well-being of children in a supportive setting.
Duties
- Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities to promote development and learning
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children's dietary needs
- Assist with diapering, feeding, bathing, and dressing infants and toddlers
- Implement daily routines such as naps, playtime, and educational activities
- Maintain a clean and organized environment by performing light cleaning related to childcare
- Administer basic first aid when necessary and handle minor injuries or emergencies appropriately
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding children's progress and daily activities
- Foster a positive, nurturing atmosphere that encourages growth and independence
Experience
- Prior experience in childcare, babysitting, nannying, or daycare settings preferred
- Knowledge of preschool activities, toddler care, infant care, and caregiving best practices
- Familiarity with meal preparation for children of different ages
- Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable but not mandatory; training can be provided if needed
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children and their families in a professional manner
