Overview
Paramont-EO is an electrical distribution supply company and we are looking for a qualified, detailed minded person to join our team of industry leaders.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Quoting of electrical switch gear and components (Breakers, disconnects etc.).
- Build a strategy with the sales team and vendors to maximize department profitability.
- Communicate with customers and coworkers about quoting projects.
- Assist with negotiating pricing with suppliers.
- Stay current on product capabilities, features, benefits, market conditions, warranties, and services.
- Develop Bill of Material using manufactures' software based on plans and specifications provided by the customer and for the development of new accounts for the department by working with departments' vendor partners.
- Identify potential projects for bid and compiles list of material requirements including supplies, lighting switch gear, and other distribution apparatuses.
- Process information for customers and vendors in a timely manner.
- Maintain excellent relationships with customers, vendors, and the outside sales team.
- All other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Experience with Solar Eclipse software a plus.
- 2-3 years of experience quoting complex switch gear packages for an electrical distributor, switch gear manufacturer, or panel shop.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the commercial/industrial switch gear field, preferably with a switch gear manufacturer.
- Some experience in switch gear pricing for electrical construction projects.
- Familiar with Eaton's bid Manager Quoting Program & ABB Quoting Program a plus.
- Experience in electrical construction preferred – quotation, purchasing or vendor sales.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Good negotiating skills
- Knowledge of electrical components.
- Must be able to work independently
- Attention to detail, organized and follow up are a must
- Previous experience with Microsoft office suite, Office 365 and SharePoint.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
