General Dentist Duties and Responsibilities:
•Reviewing patients' medical history and discussing their symptoms and concerns.
•Utilizing dental instruments and x-ray equipment to determine the cause of patients' oral pain and discomfort.
•Formulating suitable treatment plans based on the diagnosed dental condition.
•Performing procedures to treat tooth decay and cavities. Prepare and place fillings, and examining patients for dental and jaw diagnosis
•Create models for dental appliances
•Diagnose and treat oral diseases
•Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone, and soft tissue
•Completing a comprehensive diagnosis, treatment, and progress notes on each patient.
General Dentist Requirements and Qualifications
•Doctor of dental surgery (DDS) or Doctor of dental medicine (DMD) degree.
•Certification in CPR
•License to practice dentistry
•Proven experience working as a general dentist
•Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
•Effective communication skills.
•Patient and empathetic disposition.
