Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. The Accounts Payable Specialist is an integral member of the accounting team and must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while being able to complete multiple high-priority tasks simultaneously. The success of this position relies on excellent organization skills, communication and attention to detail as well as the ability to adhere to deadlines. Previous accounts payable experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Coordinating accounts payable activities
- Processing invoices
- Filing and storage of records
- Reconciling bank statements by comparing statements with general ledger
- Maintaining accounting databases by accurately entering data; processing backups
- Protecting confidential information
Qualifications
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with vendors and internal teams

Pay: $26.00 - $31.00 per hour
