About The Role
We are looking for a Project Surveyor to join our Community Building team in one of our Puget Sound locations to manage field-focused projects, collaborate with professional surveyors, and deliver high-quality results. You should have experience with roadway improvements, boundary work, utility networks, construction layout, and topographic mapping.
You Will:
Compensation is determined by factors such as education, experience, location, and role. As employee-owners, we are eligible for performance-based bonuses and our salaries are reviewed annually. Our compensation structure prioritizes transparency and internal pay equity.

About The Role
We are looking for a Project Surveyor to join our Community Building team in one of our Puget Sound locations to manage field-focused projects, collaborate with professional surveyors, and deliver high-quality results. You should have experience with roadway improvements, boundary work, utility networks, construction layout, and topographic mapping.
You Will:
- Lead survey tasks on a wide variety of projects including boundary, ALTA, topographic surveys, records of survey, and construction support.
- Support survey project delivery from planning through completion, including scope, schedule, and budget oversight.
- Provide QA/QC review of survey documents and ensure compliance with state and client standards.
- Collaborate with engineers, planners, and other technical professionals to integrate survey data into broader project workflows.
- 10 years of survey experience; 2 years of project management experience
- Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) licensure in Washington preferred
- LSIT acceptable combined with extensive project management experience
- Proficiency with survey technology, software, and methods (GPS, robotic total stations, drones, CAD platforms, etc.)
- Experience with boundary, topographic, construction staking, and right-of-way surveys
- Ability to manage projects, budgets, schedules, and field teams
- Strong communication and client coordination skills

Salary : $110,000 - $150,000
