We are looking for a Water Engineer to join us in Yuma, Arizona to support our a water utility client with their major water and wastewater infrastructure improvement program. This assignment offers a unique opportunity to be part of impactful construction projects while working closely with field teams, contractors, the design teams, and client representatives on the ground.

About the Opportunity
We are looking for a Water Engineer to join us in Yuma, Arizona to support our a water utility client with their major water and wastewater infrastructure improvement program. This assignment offers a unique opportunity to be part of impactful construction projects while working closely with field teams, contractors, the design teams, and client representatives on the ground.
Your Role on the Team:
- The role will focus primarily on construction inspection and project support for water and wastewater related infrastructure improvements. The role will be a 50/50 field and office work split.
- This is a long-term project position ranging from six months to two years.
- Monitor construction activities to verify compliance with project plans, specifications, permits, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with contractors, client representatives, designers, and project stakeholders to support successful project delivery.
- Identify and communicate field issues, assisting with problem resolution and coordination between project team members.
- Work on a variety of water and wastewater facilities, including pipelines, pump stations, treatment facilities, storage reservoirs, and related infrastructure.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering discipline.
- 3 years of experience supporting water and/or wastewater infrastructure projects.
- Experience with water and wastewater engineering design, construction management, construction inspection, or a combination of these areas.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with municipal water and wastewater facilities, including pipelines, pump stations, treatment facilities, storage reservoirs, and related infrastructure.
- Experience coordinating with contractors, owners, designers, and field personnel during construction activities.
- Ability to review plans, specifications, schedules, submittals, RFIs, and construction documentation.
- Comfortable working in active construction environments and performing site visits in varying weather conditions.
