Job Summary and Qualifications

As the Collections Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the Director in the daily operations of the Collections functions. You are also responsible for guiding the staff in their day-to-day responsibilities, which include mentoring and training them as needed.

In this role, you will:

• Identify staffing needs and communicate those needs to the Collections Director
• Review andmonitorcollection reporting (e.g.EDW Trended Aging Report)
• Monitor pool inventories to ensure accounts are being worked andresolvedin a timely manner.
• Review and act on high-dollar accounts as directed.
• Assure productivity of each staff member
• Review each staff member’s productivity and QAmonthlyand perform annual evaluations
• Counsel staff with disciplinary, productivity and/or QA issues
• Work as a liaison between the Collections staff and other SSC staff
• Resolve issues escalated by patients, Collections staff and other departments

What qualifications you will need:

• Bachelor's degree in businessor related fieldrequired. Equivalent work experience may substitute education requirements
• Minimum three years’ experience in related area with two of these years being healthcare management experience OR completion of the Parallon Manager Trainee Program.
