Data Profiling and Migration Consultant, Celonis Experience Required – Need to Live in Annapolis, MD Area
We are seeking a Data Profiling and Migration Consultant to support statewide ERP implementation, including developing a financial data strategy, assessing current financial and related data, developing a data migration plan, and establishing data governance practices. This position will concentrate on supporting data profiling and migration activities for this digital modernization effort. Experience with Celonis is required and needs to be on your resume. This is a hybrid position, and candidates need to be located in the Annapolis, MD area. 2 to 3 days a week in the office.
Data Profiling and Migration Consultant Responsibilities:
- Participate in data discovery and assessment activities to determine current data quality, data capabilities, and implications on organizational operations and data usage.
- Execute data profiling activities and support the review and interpretation of results using Celonis and other analytical tools.
- Support data engineering activities to map and transform data prior to ingestion into Celonis for process mining.
- Assist with developing a data migration plan for the ERP system.
- Coordinate closely with the broader data team to include the data strategy workstream.
Qualifications
Data Profiling and Migration Consultant Qualifications:
- Requires a University Degree and a minimum of 4 years of experience.
- Experience with Celonis and/or financial management business process engineering.
- Data management experience (e.g., data profiling, data modelling, data engineering, data consumption product and services).
- Hands-on experience with SQL or other approaches to query and analyze large data sets.
- Ability to obtain clearance.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to effectively collaborate and manage the timely completion of assigned activities while working in a highly virtual team environment.
- Hands-on experience supporting formal data profiling and data migration initiatives is a plus.
- Familiarity of financial data and understanding of key accounting and financial functions is a plus.
- Familiarity with large enterprise applications, including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software systems is a plus.
- Experience with financial data modeling, data migration, and/or data architecture development is a plus.
- Experience with legacy financial management system modernization and associated data migration plan development is a plus.
