We are seeking a motivated and organized Outbound Caller to join our inside sales team.
The Outbound Caller plays a key role in driving sales opportunities by proactively contacting prospective customers, qualifying leads, and routing opportunities to the appropriate Regional Sales Professional. This position supports the sales process by ensuring efficient lead distribution and maintaining accurate customer data.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The responsibilities and duties of the Outbound Caller will include the following:
Essential Functions

- Make outbound calls to leads from assigned lead sources, including warm leads, inbound inquiries, and purchased lists
- Introduce the company’s products and services in a professional and engaging manner
- Qualify leads by asking targeted questions to understand customer needs, timeline, budget, and decision-making process
- Accurately assign and route qualified leads to the appropriate Sales Professional based on:
- Geographic territory
- Product or service line
- Account type or size
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all interactions within the CRM system
- Meet or exceed daily and weekly call volume and lead routing targets
- Identify high-potential opportunities and escalate to sales leadership when appropriate
- Collaborate with the field sales team to ensure smooth handoff and timely follow-up
- Provide basic product information and respond to initial customer inquiries
Qualifications
- Strong verbal communication skills and professional phone presence
- Excellent listening skills with the ability to quickly understand customer needs
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with CRM systems
- Positive attitude with resilience and persistence when facing rejection
- Preferred
- Previous experience in lead qualification, outbound calling, or appointment setting
- Understanding of sales processes and pipeline development
- Ability to quickly learn product knowledge and apply it in conversations
