ParagonMeds is a nationally licensed pharmaceutical distributor serving healthcare providers across the United States and Puerto Rico. We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Strategic Purchasing Analyst to support our growing purchasing and supply chain operations.

This role will focus on inventory planning, purchasing analytics, supplier coordination, and inventory optimization initiatives to ensure product availability while maintaining efficient inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze inventory levels, demand trends, supplier lead times, and purchasing data to drive inventory and procurement decisions.
• Utilize inventory planning tools and reorder point systems to evaluate purchasing recommendations and determine appropriate inventory actions.
• Ability to identify potential inventory risks and proactively communicate concerns, recommendations, and solutions.
• Perform reorder point analysis and recommend adjustments based on sales trends, lead times, and inventory objectives.
• Monitor purchasing performance and develop reports to identify opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements.
• Support supplier management activities, including vendor communication, performance tracking, and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Warehouse, Compliance, and Management teams to support business objectives.
• Assist with new product evaluations and sourcing initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent purchasing, inventory planning, or supply chain experience will be considered.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.

Schedule: Monday – Friday 9am to 6pm
