Job Summary
Paragon Restoration II is a family-owned, commercial construction business located in Prior Lake. We are looking for a responsible individual looking for an opportunity to gain experience in accounting and administration. In this role, you will be responsible for accurate data entry, basic accounting, and supporting team members. Job Responsibilities:
- Accurately enter and maintain financial transactions within the accounting system QuickBooks.
- Monitor and manage the accounts payable email account and assist with vendor correspondence.
- Maintain organized project files and ensure proper documentation is retained.
- Prepare and submit certified payroll reports and monthly compliance documentation in accordance with contract requirements.
- Perform other administrative or accounting-related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma required.
- Post-secondary education or equivalent experience preferred (ie: college courses, vocational training, certifications).
- Minimum of 1-2 years in accounting and/or administrative experience.
- Excellent organization.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks (or similar) and basic accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills.
- Ability to multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
