The Role
As a Project Manager I, you are the critical link between our clients and the laboratory. You will manage the full project life-cycle, ensuring that every client, from a local utility to a global partner, receives a "perfect product" delivered on time with exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Management: Act as the primary point of contact; promote brand loyalty through proactive communication and swift resolution of concerns.
- Project Oversight: Coordinate incoming work and subcontracting; manage work orders and troubleshoot problems to meet client deadlines.
- Data & Logistics: Handle sample login and QA/QC protocols for document management and chain of custody (CoC).
- Administrative Flow: Maintain accurate CRM records (contact info, project schedules, and opportunities); generate and issue client invoices alongside final reports.
- Process Improvement: Participate in developing and implementing new procedures to enhance lab efficiency.
Requirements
- Experience: 2 years of customer service experience in a high-demand, fast-paced environment.
- Education: BS/BA in Chemical, Physical, Life Sciences, or Business (Preferred).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Google Business Suite (Docs, Sheets, Gmail). Experience with LIMS databases or CRM platforms like Salesforce is a plus.
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of regulations and compliance requirements within Drinking Water, Wastewater, Fuels, or Food Safety (Preferred).
- Soft Skills: Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to maintain an upbeat attitude under pressure.
- Physical: Ability to lift 20 lbs and work at a sit-to-stand workstation for extended periods.
