What are the responsibilities and job description for the C++ Engineer - HFT Research Group - Hedge Fund position at Paragon Alpha - Hedge Fund Talent Business?
I'm working with a quant hedge fund who are famous for their mid-frequency strategies across equities, with 20% returns over the last few years. They're now moving into the market making and HFT space and have built teams around hardware, data centres and networking to achieve this; and a C team to harness this infrastructure.
This team is has huge business backing, and due to being a new desk there is a start-up feel to the team, while able to leverage the data, infrastructure and executions systems of a tier one quant hedge fund.
Stack: C , Python, Linux, FPGA
The role would give you the access to the bleeding edge of quant trading, and you would co-own the infrastructure of new, yet high performing trading desk.
