Role Overview
The Senior Media Manager is responsible for overseeing, executing, and optimizing full-funnel Retail Media programs across major retail ecosystems, with a critical focus on Amazon Ads and Google Ads driving to retail, alongside broader Retail Media Networks such as Walmart Connect, Roundel, and Instacart. This role combines strategic planning, hands-on execution, performance analysis, and client partnership to drive measurable growth for agency clients. The ideal candidate can step in immediately to manage live client programs across retailers, confidently owning both strategy and day-to-day optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Retail Media strategy aligned to client goals, product lifecycle, and seasonality
- Develop retailer-specific media plans and recommend the optimal mix of Amazon Ads, Walmart Connect, Google Ads, and other Retail Media Networks
- Manage and execute Retail Media campaigns across Amazon Ads (SP, SB, SD), Walmart Connect, Roundel, Instacart, and Google Search & Shopping
- Own campaign setup, structure, targeting, bidding, testing, and budget pacing across platforms
- Monitor and optimize performance daily to improve efficiency, scale, and outcomes
- Communicate performance insights and recommendations that tie media results to retail impact
- Partner cross-functionally with account, creative, and analytics teams for seamless execution
- Support retail readiness and content optimization to improve conversion and media efficiency
- Analyze Retail Media KPIs (ROAS, ACOS, TACOS, NTB %, Impression Share, SOV) and competitive trends
- Manage, forecast, and optimize Retail Media budgets across multiple retailers
- Stay current on Retail Media platform updates and contribute to evolving best practices

Preferred Experience
- 1 – 3 years managing Retail Media and / or performance media in an agency or brand environment
- Experience supporting CPG, food & beverage, health, or hardlines brands
- Familiarity with Amazon 1P vs. 3P dynamics
- Experience working across Amazon Ads, and Google Ads, simultaneously
- Exposure to additional RMNs such as Roundel, Instacart, or Kroger is a plus
- Exposure to Walmart 1P vs 3P dynamics is a plus
