Position Summary
Paradox Miami is seeking a Group Sales Manager to lead and drive revenue through group bookings and corporate events.
This is a sales-first role focused on generating new business, building strong client relationships, and consistently closing high-value deals. You will be responsible for owning the full sales cycle - from prospecting and outreach to pitching, negotiating, and closing.
The ideal candidate is a proven closer with experience selling group experiences, corporate events, or ticketed attractions, and a strong understanding of the Miami market.
Marketing experience is a plus, but success in this role will be measured by revenue growth and sales performance.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Generation (Primary Focus):
- Proactively identify, pursue, and close group sales opportunities (corporate events, team-building, schools, tour groups, private events)
- Build and manage a sales pipeline through outbound outreach, networking, and partnerships
- Own the full sales cycle: lead generation, presentations, proposals, negotiations, and closing
- Consistently meet or exceed sales targets, KPIs, and revenue goals
- Develop customized packages and pricing strategies to maximize bookings and profitability
Business Development & Partnerships:
- Build strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, DMCs, schools, and tourism partners
- Establish partnerships with local businesses, hotels, and attractions to drive group traffic
- Generate repeat and referral business through excellent client management
Marketing Support (Secondary Focus):
- Collaborate on marketing initiatives that directly support lead generation and sales growth
- Leverage social media, promotions, and local activations to convert leads into bookings
- Execute creative, grassroots, and guerrilla marketing efforts aligned with sales objectives
Analytics & CRM Management:
- Track leads, outreach, and conversions using CRM tools (monday.com or similar)
- Analyze performance data to optimize sales strategies and pricing
- Monitor local competition and market trends to stay competitive
Requirements
- 3 years of proven sales experience in group sales, corporate events, or ticketed entertainment
- Demonstrated success in closing high-value group or corporate deals
- Experience in entertainment, attractions, hospitality, or tourism industries strongly preferred
- Strong network of local contacts (corporate, schools, tourism, or events) is a major plus
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Highly self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven
- Ability to work independently with a strong sense of ownership
- Experience with CRM systems and sales tracking tools
What We’re Looking For
- A true sales professional who thrives on closing deals and driving revenue
- Someone comfortable with outbound sales, cold outreach, and relationship building
- A candidate who understands how to sell experiences and events, not just products
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a hunter mentality
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $65,000 – $85,000
- Performance-based bonuses tied to group sales revenue
- Health, dental, and vision insurance
- Paid time off
- Employee discounts
