What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Sanitation position at Paradise Tomato Kitchen?
SUMMARY:
Seasonal Sanitation personnel report directly to the Site Quality Manager. They are primarily responsible for the cleanliness of the office areas, outlying areas of production, and other minor cleaning duties throughout the plant.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Sanitation Personnel work from a Master Sanitation Task List that lists each cleaning function to be performed, as well as the frequency. They are required to sign off/date completed work.
- Sanitation Personnel are primarily responsible for ensuring cleaning chemical supplies, paper products, and other sanitation items are ordered from vendors in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Sanitation Personnel support any cleaning or extra sanitation tasks in preparation for external or internal audits.
- Sanitation Personnel perform any other necessary cleaning duties given to them by the Plant Manager, Quality Manager, or other management personnel.
- Train and mentor new employees, as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
