What are the responsibilities and job description for the Gaming Bartender - Graveyard position at Paradise Pub?
It's a new year and we need to add another energetic bar host to help us take this bar to the next level. We are looking for a professional, Gaming Bartender that takes ownership and provides an excellent guest experience to ensure the success of their shifts.
The right candidate will be a talented bartender with ample gaming experience that understands the importance of great hospitality and fantastic service in a gaming bar environment. Someone who is experienced in promoting and cultivating an enthusiastic customer base. They must be a trustworthy team player that shows leadership and takes control when working the bar.
A good gaming bartender will be able to provide great customer service including: creating classic cocktails, tending to gamer requests, using a player tracking system, anticipating and exceeding customers’ needs and expectations while keeping a clean and tidy bar.
We are putting this established bar back on the map with fun events, great gaming promotions and exceptional customer service. The business is growing and we need a team player with buy-in, that understands what's necessary for rebuilding a bar and brand. Compensation includes salary and tips. Incentives will be offered for candidates that can preform at an elevated level.
Responsibilities
- Promoting. Cultivate gaming patrons with charisma and 5 star service
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Properly use POS and player tracking systems
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
- Interact with customers, take orders and serve drinks
- Comply with all food & beverage regulations
- Follow alcohol awareness procedures for preventing intoxication, dealing with intoxicated guests and checking identification to confirm legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
Skills
- Proven working experience as a gaming bartender
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable using POS and player tracking systems
- Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
