Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable, ensuring seamless order entry and processing
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation
- Assist with food handling, food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to ensure a pristine environment
- Manage cash handling and cashiering duties accurately, including processing payments and providing correct change
- Foster positive guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for efficient order management
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to multitask effectively while managing time in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Previous experience in serving, bussing, host/host roles or food industry positions is highly desirable
- Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus for understanding menu items and food preparation processes
