Duties:
- Greet guests and escort them to their tables
- Present menus and provide detailed information on food and beverage options
- Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly
- Relay orders to the kitchen staff and ensure timely delivery of meals
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional manner
- Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction
- Clear tables and maintain cleanliness in the dining area
- Handle cash transactions and process payments using POS systems
- Collaborate with other team members to provide exceptional service
- Uphold health and safety standards, including proper sanitation practices
Skills:
- Previous experience as a Server in a restaurant setting
- Proficient in using OpenTable or similar reservation systems
- Strong cash handling skills
- Basic math skills for accurate order taking and bill calculation
- Knowledge of bussing procedures to maintain a clean dining area
- Excellent salesmanship to upsell menu items and promote specials
- Familiarity with POS systems, such as Aloha POS, for order processing
- Exceptional guest relations skills to provide personalized service
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
