Information Technology Technician I

POSITION SUMMARY:

Provide technical support to end users, deploy and troubleshoot IT equipment, conduct basic clerical duties, and support manufacturing operations.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

· Provide Helpdesk services to end users such as:

o PC and printer troubleshooting

o Software installations and updates

o Basic software/network troubleshooting

o Collect information and diagnostics for issues that require escalation

· Deployment of workstations and peripherals, Audio/Visual systems

· General Maintenance of IT infrastructure

· Ensure inventories, records, and other documentation are kept up to date

· Ensure all IT activities are performed within the parameters of company policy, applicable laws, codes and regulations.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE YOU’LL POSSESS:

· 2-5 years of experience working in a Business IT environment

· Associates Degree or greater in an Information Technology field of study

· Certifications such as CompTIA A and Microsoft 365 Fundamentals

· Or an equivalent combination of experience, education, or certifications

CRITICAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES YOU’LL BRING:

· Working knowledge of computer systems, Windows, and Office Suite

· Friendly, professional end-user communication with strong information-gathering skills

· Basic knowledge of industrial control systems, embedded systems and enterprise networking

· Strong critical thinking and triage skills

· Highly organized and possess a strong attention to detail

This role operates in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and requires frequent interaction with employees across various departments and levels of the organization.

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
