What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience managing complex hardware and embedded software projects from concept through delivery; minimum 5 years' experience required.
- Strong understanding of hardware development lifecycles and embedded systems (C/C , RTOS, Linux).
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, QA, manufacturing, supply chain, and external vendors.
- Experience developing and tracking project schedules, risks, and dependencies across multiple workstreams.
- Ability to collaborate in fast-paced environments and influence without authority.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Jira for project tracking and reporting.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including executive-level updates.
- Strong problem-solving and risk management capabilities.
- Ability to act as team SCRUM master ideal but not required.
- Experience with SOWs, contracts, and vendor oversight preferred.
- Understanding of regulatory, quality, and compliance requirements for hardware products.
- Drive end-to-end project execution for hardware platforms and embedded software components while ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Develop, maintain, and publish project plans, schedules, risk logs, dashboards, and resource allocations.
- Partner with engineering on design reviews, integration milestones, validation, and quality assurance processes.
- Manage vendor relationships and outsourced development activities, including SOW creation, milestone tracking, and acceptance criteria.
- Ensure regulatory and quality compliance for hardware, firmware, and integrated systems.
- Facilitate serviceability analysis and documentation to support long-term maintenance and lifecycle strategies.
- Champion continuous improvement across hardware-software integration and project management best practices.
- Support cross-functional communication and visibility, ensuring alignment between Product, Engineering, Operations, and Leadership.
