We’re searching for a Technical Parts Specialist who can transform technical expertise into measurable results for our customers and business.
Success Criteria:
In this role, you will make an impact by identifying and validating part numbers for complex equipment systems such as medical device assembly machines, friction stir welding and nuclear-grade custom cranes. You will drive high order conversion rates through consistent follow-up, thoughtful recommendations, and exceptional customer service. By anticipating and resolving obsolescence issues, you will provide effective alternatives that keep critical systems operational. Success also means supporting on-time parts delivery through close coordination with engineering, supply chain, and external suppliers, while maintaining precise Salesforce CRM records to ensure visibility across customer interactions, quotes, and order status. Finally, you will play a key role in continuously improving quoting accuracy, responsiveness, and vendor coordination to strengthen customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business.

Our starting rate of pay for this salaried position is targeted at $70,000-90,000 annually.
Requirements:
- Associate’s degree in engineering technology.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering, spare parts quoting, aftermarket sales, or technical support.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and bills of materials (BOMs) with confidence.
- Strong organizational skills with a track record of delivering results in fast-paced, customer-focused environments.
- Clear and persuasive communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- 3 years in spare parts quoting, aftermarket sales, or technical support.
- Proficiency with Salesforce (or similar CRM).
- Experience with engineered systems in regulated environments (medical, nuclear, aerospace).
- Familiarity with mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and control components.
Salary : $70,000 - $90,000
