What are the responsibilities and job description for the Talent Acquisition Specialist position at PAR Systems?
Are you the ultimate matchmaker, turning resumes into relationships and career goals into opportunities? If you answered yes, this might be your next career move! As a global leader in intelligent manufacturing, PAR Systems is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist who is excited to find great people, build strong relationships, and continue growing their career in talent acquisition.
Our strategic growth relies on great talent, and we need a resourceful, curious, and technically minded recruiter to help us find it. That’s where you come in! The Talent Acquisition Specialist plays an important role in ensuring we have the talent needed not only for today, but also for our long-term strategic growth.
Success Criteria
Bringing a talent-seeking mindset and curiosity to learn, you will help grow our engineering, technical, manufacturing, and corporate teams in Minnesota, Georgia, and beyond. We don’t view recruiting as a factory assembly line. It is one of our company’s most important and strategic efforts, one that is collaborative and, above all, human. In this role, you’ll help build the teams that are at the forefront of innovating industrial automation.
Building strong relationships is at the core of who we are. You’ll develop meaningful connections with candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders while learning to understand the unique needs of each role and team. By building talent networks, staying connected with candidates, and becoming a knowledgeable recruiting partner to our hiring managers, you’ll help PAR compete for great talent in a challenging market.
Your curiosity and ability to learn the technical language behind our work will help you tell the PAR story and connect candidates to meaningful career opportunities. As one of the first impressions candidates have of our organization, you’ll play an important role in representing our employer brand and creating an engaging candidate experience.
Recruiting is both an art and a science. You’ll use a variety of sourcing strategies including LinkedIn, job boards, networking, referrals, campus partnerships, and creative outreach to identify and engage talent. You know that great recruiting goes beyond matching keywords on a resume. You’ll learn what makes someone successful at PAR and use thoughtful screening and conversation to evaluate skills, experiences, motivations, and alignment with the opportunity.
As a project engineering organization, details and process matter. Your ability to stay organized, manage competing priorities, and adapt as business needs change will help you successfully manage the full-cycle recruiting process. From sourcing and screening through interview coordination, selection, and offer, you’ll help create a smooth and positive experience for candidates and hiring managers alike. Clarity and collaboration is a core part of our company values, and you’ll bring it to the hiring journey through proactive communication, thoughtful planning, and reliable follow-through. You’ll also bring a continuous-improvement mindset, using recruiting data, feedback, and lessons learned to help us strengthen our processes and find better ways to attract and hire great people.
