Role Description
Papillon Health & Wellness is seeking a Part-Time IDEA Therapist to provide school-based support in one Martin County school.
Position details:
Part-time
Martin County, Florida
$30/hour
Master’s degree required
Supervision available for candidates seeking internship or licensure hours
We are looking for someone who is compassionate, reliable, and passionate about supporting children and adolescents in a school setting. Ideal candidates will have:
A master’s degree in a related field
Experience or interest in working with children, teens, and families
Strong communication and documentation skills
A trauma-informed, student-centered approach

Qualifications
- Proficiency in individual and group counseling, with an emphasis on trauma-informed care and therapeutic relationship-building.
- Experience in developing treatment plans, conducting client assessments, and utilizing evidence-based practices.
- Strong knowledge of alternative therapies and holistic approaches to mental health and wellness.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills.
- Licensed or licensure-eligible as a mental health professional in the state of Florida (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent).
- Familiarity with maintaining client records in compliance with state regulations and organizational standards.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Master’s degree or higher in mental health counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field.
- Prior experience in trauma-informed therapy or holistic treatment methods preferred.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with current mental health practices.
