Reports To:  Shift Foreman

Duties and Responsibilities include the following though other duties may be assigned:

Responsible for encouraging food safety by keeping baling area and plant floors clean at all times by means of sweeping and/or vacuuming.

Responsible for bailing of waste paper and separating the different grades of paper when needed. 

Bands and weighs all finished bales of waste paper.

Palletizes and packages finished product; have the ability to lift and stack finished rolls of paper poker-chip-style on pallets to a height of 48 and weight per roll of up to 75 lbs. 

Ensures quality by packaging of finished product to meet customer specifications.

Responsible for encouraging food safety by notifying foreman of any quality problem and/or safety hazards as they occur.

Ensures food security by notifying foreman of any security concerns or hazards as they occur.

Ensures food safety and quality standards are met by following all internal operating procedures, GMPs, FDA, customer, and SQF requirements. 

Communicates Safety and Quality Issues with shift foreman in a timely and professional manner.

Assists fellow employees wherever help is needed. 

Work with machine operators as requested.
