The Senior Financial Systems Analyst supports and enhances the firm’s financial technology ecosystem, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and data integrity across all accounting and finance platforms. This role serves as a system expert for Deltek Vantagepoint and related integrations, driving process improvements, automation, and reporting solutions that enable better decision-making and operational performance.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert for Deltek Vantagepoint and related applications, including Electronic Invoicing (EI), A/P Approvals (PAT), and A/R Statements (ARM).
- Support the configuration, maintenance, and reporting of financial systems
- Administer security, maintain documentation, and ensure compliance with internal controls.
- Document and maintain knowledge of all system customizations
- Support integrations between financial systems (including Workday, OneStream, and others) to maintain data accuracy and consistency.
- Develop and maintain SQL queries, reports, and dashboards using Power BI and SQL Server Management Studio.
- Collaborate with internal customers to optimize workflows and reporting solutions.
- Act as liaison with vendors (e.g., EleVia) for case management, upgrades, and performance reviews.
- Provide user training, develop standard operating procedures (SOPs), and support adoption of new tools and features.
- Partner with the Director of Financial Systems to prioritize enhancements, manage upgrades, and support process improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Information Systems.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in financial systems administration or ERP management (Deltek Vantagepoint preferred).
- Strong technical skills in SQL, Power BI, and data reporting tools.
- Solid understanding of accounting and project financial processes.
- Experience with system integrations (Workday, OneStream, or similar) preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of data governance, audit compliance, and automation tools.
- Demonstrated integrity, adaptability, and commitment to continuous learning.
- Ability to utilize key systems and tools, including Deltek Vantagepoint, EleVia, SQL Server Management Studio, Power BI, OneStream, Workday Integration, QuickBooks, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
