Landscape Designer I

Overview

Job Description:

This position is responsible for providing technical support in the planning, design, and implementation of landscape architecture projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of project layouts, planting and irrigation plans, and complete plan sets.
• Review construction documents and cost estimates to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate with field staff and contractors to resolve construction issues.
• Assist with the preparation and coordination of bond issues and inspections with reviewing agencies.
• Support the team in project execution and develop technical skills through practical application.
• Monitor project schedules to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to support client needs, ensuring technical standards and client satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture or a related field.
• Previous internship experience is preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant design software.
• Knowledge of construction techniques, plant materials, and sustainable design principles is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders.
• Ability to work Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm with occasional overtime as needed.
