Compassionate Care Pro

Purpose of the Position

The Care Professional (Care Pro) role exists to deliver safe, reliable, and compassionate direct care services to members in the facility and in their homes.

This position supports Papa’s Place’s mission by ensuring members receive assistance with personal care, supervision, nutrition, safety, and daily living needs while maintaining dignity, independence, and well-being.

The Care Pro protects the member experience through consistency, professionalism, and adherence to care plans and agency standards.

Role Scope & Function

The Care Professional functions as a direct care provider responsible for meeting members’ daily needs and maintaining a safe, clean, and supportive environment.

This role includes both care delivery and operational support, meaning Care Pros may also assist with household, facility, or administrative tasks as needed to maintain service continuity.

This role may operate in:

• The Adult Day Center

• Member homes

• Community settings as assigned

Core Duties & Expectations

Direct Care Responsibilities

Care Professionals are responsible for providing services that may include:

• Personal care and hygiene assistance

• Supervision and safety monitoring

• Mobility assistance and fall prevention

• Nutrition support and food safety practices

• Medication reminders (as permitted by policy)

• Emotional support and companionship

Care must always follow the member’s care plan, agency training, and safety standards.

Operational Support Duties

Care Professionals may also be responsible for:

• Answering phones or doors as needed

• Maintaining cleanliness of care areas

• Kitchen duties and meal preparation support

• Documentation and reporting

• Supporting facility routines

• Any additional duties assigned by leadership

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
