Responsibilities
- Safely operate your personal vehicle for delivery routes, following all traffic laws and safety protocols.
- Load, unload, and secure pizza using manual handling techniques.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure proper functioning and compliance with all regulations.
- Navigate routes efficiently using mobile devices or GPS systems, maintaining punctuality and optimizing delivery schedules.
- Provide excellent customer service by delivering orders promptly, handling inquiries professionally, and ensuring a positive experience.
- Adhere to safe lifting practices when manually handling heavy items or moving goods within warehouses or delivery sites.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle logs in accordance with company policies and Papa John's brand standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with driving or courier services is preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively via mobile devices or in person.
- Physical capability to perform manual handling tasks including lifting items repeatedly throughout shifts.
