Prepress Production Specialist

Panther Graphics is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented person to join our prepress team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with computers, solving problems, and being part of a growing, fast-paced print production environment.

In this role, you will help prepare customer files for digital and offset production and make sure each job is accurate, complete, and ready to print. You will work closely with customer service, production, and other members of the prepress team to keep jobs moving efficiently through the plant.

What you’ll do

· Review incoming artwork and production files

· Preflight files for fonts, images, bleeds, color, sizing, and other print requirements

· Make basic file corrections and prepare artwork for production

· Follow job specifications and established prepress procedures

· Communicate questions or file concerns to the appropriate team members

· Organize and manage digital files within the production workflow

· Perform quality checks before files are released to print

· Help maintain an accurate and efficient flow of work through the department

Experience with Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, or Photoshop is helpful, but we are also interested in candidates with strong computer skills, a good eye for detail, and the ability to learn.

We provide hands-on training in our production processes, equipment, and workflow systems. This position offers the opportunity to build practical prepress skills and grow within a professional print production environment.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
