The Role: Execution & Impact
We are seeking a Recruiter with 5 years of agency-side experience who is ready to move in-house and own the full-cycle process. You will be the engine of our hiring process, finding "hidden gem" candidates in the Houston market and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
- Active Sourcing: Go beyond the job boards. You will utilize GitHub, Stack Overflow, and AI-driven sourcing tools to identify passive technical talent.
- Technical Vetting: Conduct rigorous initial screenings to assess not just "keywords," but actual competency and cultural alignment for specific IT stacks.
- Full-Cycle Ownership: Manage the entire candidate journey from first touch to the final offer letter, ensuring zero friction for the hiring managers.
- Candidate Experience: Maintain a high-touch, responsive process. In a competitive market, your speed and communication are our greatest competitive advantages.
- ATS Mastery: Own the data integrity of our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring all candidate records and pipeline metrics are real-time and accurate.
- Diverse Pipeline Building: Implement creative strategies to ensure a broad and inclusive pool of candidates for every open req.
Required Skills & Experience
- The 5-Year Benchmark: Minimum of 5 years in IT/Technical recruitment. We specifically value those with agency backgrounds who are accustomed to high-volume, high-urgency environments.
- Houston Presence: You must be based in Houston. Local networking and understanding the Texas talent landscape is vital.
- Technical Fluency: You should be comfortable discussing roles ranging from Cloud Architecture and Cybersecurity to Full-Stack Development.
- Organizational Grit: Ability to manage 5-10 active roles simultaneously without letting candidate communication slip.
- Tools of the Trade: Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter, modern ATS platforms, and Boolean search logic.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field is preferred.
