What You'll Do
The Tooling Windchill Librarian is responsible for the effective management, organization, and integrity of engineering data and documentation within the PTC Windchill Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system. This role is crucial for supporting the Tooling & Machine Design organization by ensuring that engineers, and other stakeholders have access to accurate, controlled, and up-to-date product information, including Computer Aided Design (CAD) models, drawings, Bills of Material (BOMs), specifications, and other technical documents. The Windchill Librarian will also support users, manage data lifecycles, and contribute to the continuous improvement of PLM processes. Key responsibilities include the management of engineering data, particularly CAD models and associated documentation, standard parts and associated CAD models, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all data entered into windchill, and implementing and enforcing data quality standards.

- OR applicants without a bachelor's degree may be considered based on a combination of at least 8 years of completed education and/or relevant experience.
- Previous PTC Windchill experience performing data management or librarian work
- A minimum of 3 years of PTC Creo experience performing modeling of parts and assemblies
- Knowledge of engineering drawings, models, and technical standards
- Understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Principles, configuration management, and data lifecycles management.
- Experience with windchill customization or reporting tools.
- Familiarity with industry standard quality management systems or similar controlled environments.
- Experience with other enterprise systems (SAP) and their integration with Windchill.
- Demonstrated technical capabilities, leadership, and work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to follow procedures and work within a rigorous work process
- Good written and oral communications skills
- Capable of handling classified information
