What are the responsibilities and job description for the Window Service Repair Technician position at Panorama Windows, Ltd.?
Duties:
Perform a variety of service work on aluminum windows and doors which may include any of the following:
- Glazing – Replace glass, re-block glass, replace gaskets, re-seal glass
- Screens – Re-mesh; install new screens
- Hardware – Repair, adjust or replace handles, locks, Tilt-Turn window mechanisms, balance systems
- Clean, lubricate, adjust, re-shim, weatherstrip, and other service work on aluminum windows and doors * Measure for screens, balances, glass replacement when required
- Report status of jobs at the end of the day:
- Complete – Job can be billed
- Incomplete – Parts need to be ordered or more time needed to complete the job

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The position involves sitting, walking and lifting less than 20 pounds for short periods of time throughout the day.
