What are the responsibilities and job description for the Collision Repair Technician position at New Hope Auto Service?
New Hope Auto is looking for an experienced Auto Body Technician to join our busy Brooklyn shop. We are looking for someone who knows the trade, works independently, takes pride in their work, and can handle repairs from start to finish.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience with collision repair and auto body work
- Body panel repair and replacement
- Dent and damage repair
- Disassembly and reassembly of vehicles
- Ability to properly align and fit body panels
- Experience working with bumpers, fenders, doors, hoods, quarter panels, etc.
- Able to assess damage and determine the proper repair
- Must have your own tools
- Dependable, responsible, and able to work independently
- Must produce clean, quality work — all of our work is guaranteed
- Experience in a professional body shop is required
Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 8 AM–7 PM. Saturdays are available depending on schedule; no Sundays.
Pay: $30–$40/hour depending on experience and ability. We’re looking for someone experienced, so pay will be based on what you can actually do.
