Responsibilities
- Operate a variety of imaging equipment including X-ray, CT (Computed Tomography), and nuclear medicine procedures with precision and care.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort throughout the procedure.
- Follow strict aseptic techniques to prevent infection and ensure patient safety during invasive or sterile procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians to perform diagnostic evaluations, interpret images, and provide accurate reports for clinical decision-making.
- Maintain detailed records of imaging procedures, patient data, and equipment logs in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Assist in emergency situations within Level I Trauma Centers or Level II trauma centers by providing rapid diagnostic imaging support in urgent care and emergency room settings.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience working in emergency medicine environments or trauma centers, preferably Level I Trauma Centers or Level II Trauma Centers.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to diagnostic radiology.
- Hands-on experience with a broad range of imaging modalities including X-ray, and CT.
- Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation processes and the ability to analyze images accurately for clinical interpretation.
- Excellent understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control protocols during invasive procedures.
- Prior experience working in urgent care or emergency room settings is highly desirable.
