Duties
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, glassware, cookware, and kitchen tools efficiently throughout each shift
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas by sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces regularly
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, or portioning ingredients when needed
- Support catering and banquet events by providing clean service ware and assisting with setup or breakdown as required
- Ensure compliance with food handling safety standards and proper sanitation procedures at all times
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to manage waste disposal and recycling efforts responsibly
- Monitor dishwashing equipment for proper operation and report any malfunctions promptly
Experience
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided
- Familiarity with food service operations, including bussing and basic food prep skills, is a plus
- Experience in banquet settings or catering environments enhances your ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced situations
- Knowledge of cleaning protocols and food handling safety standards is advantageous
