The OTR CDL Driver is responsible for safely operating tractor-trailer equipment to support Panhandle’s oilfield and customer operations. This is a safety-sensitive, over-the-road (OTR) position involving interstate travel and extended time away from home, based on customer demand and job scheduling.

Panhandle Oilfield Services is hiring Class A CDL Drivers for local oilfield operations.
- Safely operate tractor-trailer equipment in compliance with DOT and company standards
- Secure loads and ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Complete driver e-logs, job tickets, and required documentation accurately
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Report equipment issues, incidents, or safety concerns promptly
- OTR position requiring interstate travel
- Irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Home time varies based on workload and operational needs and is not guaranteed nightly
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years of age (required for interstate commercial driving)
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- OTR and/or oilfield driving experience
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
- Ability to perform physically demanding work
- Ability to work safely in oilfield and outdoor environments
- Effective communication skills in English (speaking, reading, writing)
Physical Requirements -This position requires the ability to perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor and oilfield environments.
- Ability to sit for extended periods while operating commercial motor vehicles
- Ability to climb in and out of tractor-trailer cabs multiple times per shift
- Ability to safely secure loads, including bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 75 pounds, with or without assistance, as required
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, wind, and rain
- Ability to maintain alertness and safely operate equipment for extended driving periods
- Ability to meet all DOT physical qualification standards, including vision and hearing requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Oilfield trucking experience (equipment, tubulars, frac support, or related loads)
- Experience hauling oversized, specialized, or heavy equipment
- Prior experience operating flatbed or specialized trailers
- Mechanical aptitude and basic equipment troubleshooting skills
- Strong safety record with no recent preventable accidents
- High school diploma or equivalent
Compensation
- Hourly rate – subject to OT
