Summary of Job Description:
The Corporate Paralegal provides broad legal and administrative support to the Corporate Legal team related to commercial contracts, legal research, corporate governance, data and privacy and legal operations support. This position performs a variety of paralegal work, including drafting agreements and other legal documents, under the supervision of an attorney. The Corporate Paralegal supports other departments on minor legal issues, including researching changes in laws as they impact the business and interacting with internal business partners and third-party vendors.
Job Responsibilities:
- Under the supervision of an attorney, supports all aspects of a contract lifecycle, including: preparing initial drafts and reviewing, revising, negotiating and preparing agreements for execution (such as NDAs, professional service agreements, independent contractor agreements, commercial, supply & purchase, etc.).
- Assists with corporate governance activities, including maintenance of corporate records, entity documents, and compliance filings.
- Assists in corporate transactions, such as international franchise arrangements and joint ventures.
- Performs administrative tasks such as coordinating for signatures, agreement searches, mailing, and other related matters.
- Prepares major presentations on behalf of the Corporate Legal team. Supports other departments on legal issues, including reviewing laws, ordinances, and statutes..
- Supports the Corporate Legal team’s use of existing technology solutions (including the contract lifecycle management system and legal billing software) by assisting with organization, data entry, and renewal processes.
- Works on special projects as requested, including in areas of data privacy, marketing, and corporate governance.

Your background & experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
- Minimum three years of relevant experience
- Paralegal certification required
- Successful completion of initial and periodically required trainings.
- Obtaining a valid Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment is a requirement of this position.
Pay Range: P2: $72,500 - $101,500 / Annual
* Within the range, individual pay is determined using various factors, including work location and experience.
