An award-winning company with a solid history of success; we are seeking individuals who want to join us as we grow and expand our mission of delivering exceptional residential experiences.Primary Responsibilities for the Maintenance Supervisor:Overseeing onsite maintenance teamWorking closely with Property Manager and onsite management teamProviding leadership and guidance to foster a productive team environment and achieve property maintenance goalsProviding effective training to new maintenance staff membersDelivering professional, quality services to residents and responding to service requests in a timely mannerAdhering to all applicable codes and standards and ensuring compliance with all safety protocols.Providing effective maintenance management throughout all areas of the propertyControlling inventory, ordering and delivery of approved supplies and equipmentPerforming various community maintenance services relating to plumbing repair, appliance repair, minor electrical repairs, HVAC troubleshooting and repairsManaging apartment turnover process for efficient resident move-insCompleting all required inspectionsEstablishing effective relationships with vendors and partners to maximize quality of service to residents and meet budgeting objectivesManaging staffing schedule to ensure 24/7 emergency coverageThe Property - The Point at HerndonGarden-style property244 UnitsConvenient location close to major highwaysDedicated onsite management and maintenanceWhat We’re Looking for in a Maintenance Supervisor Candidate:Valid driver's license requiredMust be able to read and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writingGreat people skills and a desire to provide residents an exceptional residential experience through superior in-person service and quality maintenance managementThoughtful leadership skills to foster a supportive and productive onsite team environmentA minimum of 1 to 3 years of leadership experience as a Maintenance SupervisorA strong working knowledge of all aspects of multi-family property maintenanceHVAC experience and certification or willingness to obtainProven experience managing staff and multiple projectsExperience with working in various digital platforms including Microsoft Office Suite and various industry-related software platforms.Knowledge of relevant local, state, and federal codes and regulations.Ability to maintain a “can do” attitude to ensure the property’s successWillingness to work weekends/holidays in an emergency situationSuccessful completion of required background and drug screening prior to start of employmentWhat We Offer:Competitive Medical, Dental, Vision, and Disability & Life insurance benefitsHealth Care and Dependent Care FSA and HSA401(k) with Company Match after 2 months of serviceGenerous Paid Time off. 15 PTO days, 2 Floating Holidays and 7 Company Paid Holidays.
