The Performance Marketing Manager will manage the Performance Marketing Team* as well as external agency partners, and is responsible for digital media management and optimization across all retail channels. Responsible for strategy that utilizes data to drive e-commerce sales and market share growth, while continuously improving ad spend efficiency. The Performance Marketing Team also maintains oversight of consolidated marketing data dashboards, managing automation, data integrations and visualization for cross-functional use across the business. This role reports into the Group Manager of Marketing Operations and Technology.

What You'll Get to Do:
- D2C and E-commerce Partner Digital Marketing Media Placements and Optimization
- Work closely with marketing and product teams to understand business goals and build comprehensive monthly and quarterly digital media plans supporting promotions and sales for each Product Group across retail - Amazon AMS, DSP, bestbuy.com, Criteo -, paid social, Google search and display, and owned e-commerce. Collaborate weekly or monthly with digital retailer channel partners, product teams, marketing teams, sales teams, and external agencies to optimize and execute plans to effectively align with core KPI's - budget, share of voice, traffic, conversion, sales goals- shifting strategy based on performance and industry trends.
Analysis and Reporting
Manage weekly reporting of category marketing performance and trend analysis, translating data into easily digestible insights and action plans. Support monthly and quarterly performance marketing business reviews with upper management and provide ad-hoc analytics tracking for key models and events to drive future enhancements as needed.
Data Management
Manage marketing data capture readiness for dashboard reporting systems, including ensuring continuity of automated and manual mar-tech data capture. Enforce media campaigns and UTM continuity guidelines with digital media agencies. Oversee mar-tech dashboarding vendor solutions and recommend enhancements.
Strengthen Digital Shelf Presence
Take ownership of digital retail partner digital shelf analytics; provide recommendations for improving positioning, and grow Panasonic's share of voice at the category or subcategory level and key generic search results pages. Continually review and optimize to improve performance.
Budget and Checkbook Management
Manage category promotion and marketing checkbooks and coordinate spending plans with Product Marketing and Finance teams to align with category PL. Submit Requests for Approval, PO's, and Invoices, and manage budget shifts in a timely manner, as needed.
What You'll Bring:
Education and Experience
- BS or BA degree required
- A minimum of 4-5 years work experience
- Experience managing a team required
- 2 years of direct Amazon marketing experience, AMS and DSP, required
- Experience with all common digital advertising media, including search, programmatic display, CTV, OTT, social media, etc.
- Fluent with analyzing and drawing insights from common martech publishing and reporting systems, Amazon Marketing, Google, Meta, Criteo
- Familiarity and experience with generative AI for productivity and data analysis a plus

Ability to collaborate with remote Sales team to achieve mutual goals, prioritize tasks, and follow up on execution
Collaboration with Finance and Accounting, Business Operations, Service, Procurement Depts.
External communication with digital retail Marketing partners, and Marketing agencies
Other Requirements
Occasional interface with Marketing counterparts in Japan via evening video conferences
10-15 percent Domestic Travel and potential International Travel

The salary range of$105k - 150k is just one component of Panasonic's total package. Actual compensation varies depending on the individual's knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and incentives.

Salary : $105,000 - $115,000
