We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Entry Level Hydraulic Technician to join our team. In this role, your primary responsibility will be testing pumps, motors, and transmissions. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct testing of pumps and motors to verify performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with experienced technicians to diagnose and troubleshoot issues.
- Learn to read blueprints to aid in testing procedures.
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Maintain accurate records of test results.
- Ability to inspect own work.
- Must be a team player with a flexible and positive approach to resolving problems.
Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and a genuine interest in hydraulic systems.
- Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and work effectively in a team.
- Basic familiarity with hand and power tools.
- Fill out inspection reports
- Good problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
- Keep the testing area clean and organized.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Preferred:
- Technical or vocational training in hydraulics or a related field.
- Even limited experience working with hydraulic systems is a plus.
Physical Demands:
- Standing and bending are required
- Must be able to lift 50lbs. regularly.
